Today, in breaking news around the World, Osama Bin Laden, the most wanted fugitive in the World has been declared dead by the United States Government.

Bin Laden was killed by a crack Navy Seals Special Forces unit in a place called Abbottabad, outside of Islamabad. The FBI and the US Government had been offering a reward of up to $25 million for information leading to the capture of Bin Laden, dead or alive. It’s taken 10 years to get him, but now it looks on the face of it like they have got him, dead.

The reward went up and up over the years and no information was forthcoming, it was a wild goose chase and it turns out Bin Laden was right under everyones noses in a fortess style building near Pakistan’s leading military academy.

Well, as it was US Forces personnel who eventually took out Bin Laden, no rewards need to be paid as they are on the payroll anyway, the elite team of soldiers.

So, for bountyhunters out there and private detectives who dream of a big payday at the same time helping out your National Crime detection statistics, where you will you find the biggest rewards?

On the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Criminals Page of course.

However, the criminals they are chasing are not as high profile as the recently deceased Bin Laden.

The highest reward on offer is for James J. Bulger , standing at $2 million.

Trying to find Bin Laden was never a realistic proposition for non-military personnel or agencies. However there are many criminals who are on the run who are still in the United States most likely. There are many ex police detectives and professionally trained private detectives and ex-military personnel who are highly skilled at locating people.

If you’re the best at what you do, these are the big paydays waiting for you.

Victor Manuel Gerena stands at $1 million , and the remaining 8 of the top 10 most wanted have $100,000 bounties on their heads.
